Review: “Bunco Babes Tell All” by Maria Geraci

A funny story about Love, friendship and Community!

Meet the Bunco Babes of Whispering Bay. Every Thursday night they roll dice, drink frozen margaritas, and catch up on all the gossip in their small north Florida town. Kitty Burke is the only Bunco Babe who is still single—which is okay—but she’s thirty-five and may need to face that her image of Mr. Right is all wrong.

My thoughts…

Kitty and her friends play Bunco every week, and Kitty looks forward to getting together with her friends, ..rain or shine!  She is staying in her Grandmothers old home..( which she loves, but the house belongs to her mother ) …meanwhile, Kitty is trying to figure out a way to buy her Grandmothers home so that she can live in it permanently.  The plumbing needs some work, so one night Kitty calls her friend do the work, but Gus is not available so he sends Steve instead.

lets just say….there are “Fireworks” between Kitty and Steve!  instant attraction!

The story takes some interesting twists and turns involving a Real estate deal, the local Senior Center, relationship problems, and … playing Bunco!

***I found this book to be very entertaining and hard to put down! there are directions on how to play “Bunco” in the back of this book, and some wonderful recipes also.

Buy this book on Amazon, B & N, or your favorite online book store. Look for the second book about the Bunco Babes called “Bunco Babes Gone Wild”

Bunco is such an easy game that it’s a great way to get together socially. Sounds like a fun group to me!
