Review: An O’Brien Family Christmas by Sherryl Woods

Chesapeake Shores #8
(October 2011)
ISBN 978-0778312703

Dating Matthew O’Brien—a playboy and a younger man—cost Laila Riley her career and her parents’ respect. A high price, even for love—and when Laila decides it was just a fling, she breaks it off, despite Matthew’s objections.

But the O’Brien family has other ideas, and they conspire to get Laila to join them on a Dublin holiday. It’s a great time to get away from it all, but Laila has reservations about the trip. Matthew’s bound to be there, and she’s far from immune. What if she can’t resist temptation?

My review:

As Laila tries to understand her Fathers concerns over her position at her job, ( and her relationship with Matthew) , she agrees to join a O’Brien family trip to Ireland.   While Matthew and Laila enjoy the scenery in Ireland, their family wants to help them out along the way…

I enjoyed getting to know Gram ( Nell ) as she finds a old friend. And even Luke has romance on his mind, as he meets a interesting lady that he wants to get to know.

**Even though I havent read this entire series, I enjoyed the Holiday spirit of this book!   I really enjoy books by Sherryl Woods and look forward to reading more of them.

Five Stars!
