  Starry Nights by Debbie Macomber

Do you love Romance books?  I’m a big fan of Debbie Macomber’s books and recently received “Starry Nights” to read and review.  I really enjoyed the story of Carrie and Finn.!  Finn is a elusive author living in Alaska, and Carrie has been given the opportunity to interview him for her job at a Newspaper.  When Carrie first meets him, she is somewhat suprised how he acts, but as she gets to know him,…she begins to understand him.

Murder and Marinara by Rosie Genova

I love cozies centered around food! Murder and Marinara is the first in the Italian Kitchen Mystery series and the 2nd book in this series is called “The Wedding Soup Murder” (due out – September, 2014 )

About the Book:
Hit whodunit writer Victoria Rienzi is getting back to her roots by working at her family’s Italian restaurant. But now in between plating pasta and pouring vino, she’ll have to find the secret ingredient in a murder….When Victoria takes a break from penning her popular mystery series and moves back to the Jersey shore, she imagines sun, sand, and scents of fresh basil and simmering marinara sauce at the family restaurant, the Casa Lido. But her nonna’s recipes aren’t the only things getting stirred up in this Italian kitchen.

ChiliConCarnageChili Con Carnage by Kylie Logan

I really enjoyed this story about Maxie, and  her half-sister Sylvia as they make the rounds in the chili-cook off circuit in the Hot-Cha Chili Seasoning Palace!
As soon as I started reading it, it grabbed my attention.  I really like the cute expressions and sayings that are mixed into the mystery, and I love the chili pepper costume!
Maxie and Sylvia dont always get along..but they are trying hard to keep the Chili Seasoning Palace up and running.
The characters are well written and the story leaves you guessing “who did it” until the end!
